In 2003, he established his own studio- Beijing Art Splendor Culture Co. LTD.
The artwork has the shape of a big full apple. The color is mainly green, highlighting the characteristics of the midsummer season. Using loofah fruits, leaves, rattan branches, calabash, and kingfisher as materials, the designer arranges these seasonal elements repeatedly and covers the main body of the device to express the season of the work.
Summer is the most difficult and busy time for those who are far away from their homeland. The loofah represents “miss”; the Calabash represents “blessing and happiness”; the kingfisher represents “leisure and freedom.” Through anthropomorphic writing, the work use plants and kingfishers to express the feeling of longing for their hometown, relatives, and friends.
The work breaks the traditional patterns and color decoration forms of cloisonne, boldly uses color design, takes the midsummer season as the background and material, melts the yearning feelings and love for life in the lush tones of midsummer, and highlights the characteristics of the times of a harmonious society.
"Summer Dream" won the gold award in the Baihua Cup and the gold award in the Golden Phoenix Innovative Design Competition. It also won the gold medal in the Gongmei Cup at the Beijing Cultural Fair and the silver award in the Irene Cup at the 9th World Handicraft Congress.
