A lot of LeeDoll Friends asked” Why are there two Frida dolls”. For two reasons:
First, I like Frida very much, whether it’s from art world. From the literature, Frida has distinct personality.
Second, because of Frida’s work ”Two Frida”, this work was created in 1939,when Frida divorced Diego Rivera, she in a state of extreme sadness, can only talk to herself. The white Victorian dress, which she wore when she married Diego Rivera, also represents the European origin of Frida(her father is Hungarian Jewish), while another Frida wearing the traditional Mexican dress Tehuana.
 
Some people thought that Frida is the representative of feminism, however, she did not pursue feminism and had not done very feminist thing. She was completely honest about her life about her life and used art to described her “autobiography”. She’s just pursuing to understand who she is.
 
Frida was also well-established in European at that time, and was even entertained by Picasso. Frida’s self-portrait, the first Mexican painting to be included in the Louvre, also appeared on the cover of various magazines.
 
Frida’s life seems to be fragmented, but she would like to say that her life is so colorful.
